Next week I will be painting my first mural! I can not believe that I have not done this yet. I have done live paintings and have been commissioned to create art, but I have never done a mural painting.

Words Beats & Life has teamed up with Albus Cavus and Peter Krsko to host an all day paint jam on a 1,000-foot wall. The painting will take place amid a backdrop of live music, free art tutorials, art galleries, a bunch of other local arts organizations, food trucks, art exhibitions, and a photo competition with a prize of $500 and the cover of our first magazine in our 14-year history.
75 artists (including myself) will donate their invaluable time, talent, brushes and paint alongside roughly 250 community residents. Artists of all skill levels will team up to bring life to thousands of square feet of public space.
