I did not realize there were so many flowers to draw until I started this project, check out this Drawing of flowers. My obsession with drawing flowers started when my husband got me these floral there Copic markers! Prior to receiving these Copic markers I have never used or owned any but I knew that they were popular amongst many artist I keep up with.
I love drawing, but these Copic markers are like adding frosting to the cake for me. I will remember this forever because I have wanted some Copic markers to test out, plus I love them! Watch my video see me a test runs this item!
Plus, There were many to choose from but I myst say the flowers I love (at this moment) are Plumeria and Dahlia (water lilly version) flowers.
The Plumeria are generally grown in tropical regions such as the Caribbean and Brazil. The plumeria is a beautiful flower but contains an sap that can be an irritant to the skin and eyes. To grow the Plumeria, cuttings from the stem tips can be obtained and planted to regrow in the Spring time.
The Dahlia is the national flower of Mexico and is related to the sunflower. The earliest Dahlias were recorded to be found in Mexico. They were used as a source of food by the indigenous peoples, and were both gathered in the wild and cultivated. The Aztecs used them to treat epilepsy and employed the long hollow stem of the for water pipes.
