Hey, creatives! I am back with my drawing challenge round up! This week was eventful. I felt inspired by Super Bowl X halftime. There was no way I was even able to pass up an opportunity to draw Beyonce. It is not too late to join me in the #weeklyfive challenge!
I am so happy to be able to share what I have been saving to post all week! I sometimes give small hints on Instagram, but I spill the beans on Cosmic Medium! Keep up with all that is going on here through www.Bloglovin.com!
So guess who created a new resource for those of you who want to illustrate a fashion and style lookbook for your existing brand or create illustrations for your shop?
So you all know I announced during the fall that I had launched a fun fashion and style lookbook for fashion lovers of all shapes, colors and, sizes.
I published Illustrated Styles From A to Z 100% free and it cost me nothing to set it up the ISBN number. I don't have to worry really about customer service, AND it cost nothing to make the illustrations (unless you want to hire a freelance artist).
The part a BUNCH of people asked about was how actually to make it NOT look like another plain old lookbook.
I'm getting sales every day without doing anything but marketing on Instagram, which equals passive income.
It's an awesome way to enhance your existing brand and get some extra coins, OR create something fun and test out to see if a fashion illustration is something you want to do long term.
If you would like to sign up for this downloadable resource, you can sign up here, and you'll get notified when it's ready for download.
Ad now here is what was created for the #weeklyfive drawing challenge (week 5 of 52), all most 10% of the year!!! I decided to draw Garnet because she seems to be carefree and the life of the party, we need one of those people every once in a while.
This a bonus! I managed to record this drawing so please check it out and let me know what you think! See how Garnet was made in my new video below...
I had the pleasure drawing Beyonce. I drew her because she has inspired myself and many other women like myself. Despite her popularity, I think she is extremely worthy of fan art!
Ok, maybe I went a little overboard with he Beyonce drawings. At least, you can say that I got the Beyonce fan art out of my system! Her formation album will be greatly anticipated by this artist!!! The drawing above was created with Copic markers and color pencils (afterward only). Here is a huge rule for Copics, never go over color pencils with Copic markers because it may clog up the Copic markers.
The two above drawings are of course by you know who. They were made with my beloved iPad; I love that thing.
The above illustration is a small sketch of a little girl. The purpose of this one was to test a new style of drawing and to test out how to blend two Copics markers within the same family Code. There is a method to the Copic code and blending, and I figured part of it out.
